The “Industrial Metaverse” may be concerned with virtual reality, but it has now become part of industrial practice. At least at well-known companies such as BMW and Mercedes-Benz, as the examples of Nvidia (keyword: Omniverse) show.
But one thing should not be forgotten: Regardless of whether it is an industry or an SME, a global player or a start-up – the possible applications of XR technologies are diverse and do not take into account company size or industry boundaries (which is definitely a positive thing in this case).
