On January 24th, the Silicon Alps Cluster, the FH Joanneum and the Industry 4.0 platform invited people to the "INDUSTRY 5.0 Workshop" in Kapfenberg. The target group of the event were primarily companies that are looking for support in the transformation to Industry 5.0 - based on the pillars of people-centered, sustainable and resilient. Based on concrete Industry 5.0 use cases - carried out as part of the Horizon Europe projects "Bridges 5.0" and "SURE5.0" - and the presentation of innovative technologies, the audience received a practical insight into their possibilities.
Extended reality and simulations are undoubtedly among the enabling technologies of Industry 5.0. This was also reflected in the tech providers on site: Together with our colleagues from XRConsole, we at EXARON – represented by Manfred – showed what potential these technologies have… and they are just waiting to be used!
